The Jehoahaz Spirit

Jeremiah 22:10 – Do not weep for the dead king or mourn his loss. Rather, weep for the captive king being led away!”
Jeremiah 22:10 is a message about Jehoahaz, the son and successor of King Josiah. Josiah was a first-generation righteous king after a long line of reins of terror and idol worship. According to this Scripture, King Jehoahaz was taken captive and led away into a distant land, never to see his home again. The Jehoahaz Spirit is on the children of first-generation Kingdom parents, some of whom exercised authority through fear and control in attempt to scare their kids into the Kingdom. The stereotype of the children of pastors and ministers who rebel and do everything possible to get away from Kingdom in spite of their anointing–that’s an example of the Jehoahaz spirit.

Katy Perry is a popstar with an enormous anointing on her life and her songwriting ability, regardless of how it’s abused. She has a huge gathering anointing on her–and did you know that her parents are pastors? Jehoahaz Spirit, right there.

My dad was raised in a loving, God-centered home. My grandparents have been sold out to Jesus their whole lives, but my dad veered off into the opposite direction. He’s got a crazy anointing as well; his music is compelling and powerful and definitely inspired by the Holy Spirit, even thought my dad doesn’t know it or give Him credit. Jehoahaz Spirit.

The spirit of Jehoahaz is the swpirit of kings who have a rich inheritance of kingship in their family, but who do not know they are kings and are taken captive and led away.

When you forget who you are and Whose you are, you risk losing your inheritance by giving up your identity through compromise.
