About Grace

Psalm 45:7 - Therefore God, your God, has anointed you, pouring out the oil of joy on you more than on anyone else.

I am obsessed. I have been captivated by a love that will not let me go, no matter how hard I try to duck out of it. I am in love with the most romantic Groom in history, who loves me enough to have died for me. My life is a marriage of His dreams to mine, and my passions are His. I am Daddy’s little girl, always and forever. I’m gonna be a kid my entire life, enchanted by the earth-shattering romance of my King Jesus. I am a peacemaker, not a peacekeeper. I’m gonna make some waves and  stir some hearts, and crash a little violently into some realities…but every wave I make is labeled with a divine purpose, and I will live to see my Daddy’s Kingdom established on earth. He knows the plans He has for me, and I will trust Him. Trust creates hope. Hope creates joy. Joy is strength, and strength is endurance, and endurance is power. Power is perfection. Perfection is everything I love about King Jesus, and everything He loves about me.

I’m Hannah Whalen, also known as www.facebook.com/chanceless, @hannahballistic on Twitter, and the Grace of Grace Notes at www.shinehouse.wordpress.com. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, though the entire Pacific Coast has been my stomping grounds since I was tall enough to stomp.

More about Grace…

Hannah prayed: I'm bursting with God-news! I'm walking on air. I'm dancing my salvation.

I’m the ADD talent of my town, being extraordinarily multifaceted in many areas. Singing, songwriting, drawing, painting, illustrating, comic book writing, novel writing, guitar strumming, piano tinkling, Bible studying, intercessing, prophesying, blogging, lightbulb-screwing, advice-giving, housecleaning, cat-petting, wedding-planning, matchmaking, car-detailing–you name it, I’ve probably tried it and achieved semi-expert level. Being well-versed in so many areas usually means nothing gets completed, so I’ve got lots of half-to-nearly-completed projects strewn about my life.

Somewhere along the line, my husband (my freshman crush from high school; we married on September 9th, 2011) and I will have two beautiful children. The oldest will be a girl with shoulder-length hair and infectious laughter, whose genes are a delightful blend of me and my soon-to-be-husband’s. I know this because we both have seen her. I would like to name her Hosanna, unless my Daddy has any objections.

Both my children will be raised under the influence of the Holy Spirit, hopefully popping out of the womb baptised in the Spirit like John the Baptist.

Probably sometime after we begin having children, my husband and I will begin building our earth-shattering children’s warrior ministry, which will consist of building young children up in the Spirit, equipping and empowering them in the gifts of the Spirit, and releasing them into the world as little teeny-tiny seemingly-harmless Trojan Horses. How do I know this? It was prophesied over us. Watch it happen and be amazed.

Somewhere in between all that, I will have published at least one saga, published at least one comic book (about superheroes and the Spirit, naturally), and have filmed at least one movie. Maybe saved a nation or two.

And now you all know more about me than you ever thought you’d know in ten minutes. 😉 There’s more where that came from.

Toodles! Get ready for the flood, people.
